Huayna Potosí is a 6,088m peak just outside La Paz, itself at around 3,600m, the world's highest administrative capital. The two day ascent-and-descent was probably the most physically difficult thing I've done in my life. Was it worth it? No, I don't think so. I discovered that I really like walking and climbing on glaciers, and I'd do that again in a heartbeat, but people that think it's oh-so-important to get to the top of stuff are assholes.
