Taken sometime around May or June of 2003 someplace close to the MIT campus in Cambridge, Mass. These have been sitting under the bed for many, many years and they probably wouldn't have ever seen the light of day if i hadn't stopped taking photos so completely of late. They were taken as part of the whole Haitian adventure and I suppose felt rather bland in comparison, at the time. But now they seem a little bit more interesting for some reason. Because Boston hadn't felt like this in 2001. At all. There were real live manic street preachers and the whole town felt like it had woken up. Like someone had yelled "You were sick, but now you're well again, and there's work to do."
